Salt is a fantastic restaurant. Excellent decorum and lighting. The service was top notch and the food was delicious. I had the crab cake and the wagyu burger and both were among the best I've ever had. Highly recommend.

The food and cocktails were amazing and the staff knew their stuff and took the time to get to know your likes and dislikes to recommend the perfect drink for you! We also enjoyed their desserts which were perfect pairings to the cocktails we ordered

Okay so I went to Salt with my mom last night - we had Oscar as a server and we also had words with the manager Sarah (Sera ?) over confusion with Salt/Open Road -- it seems Salt and the upstairs restaurant "Open Road" are in cahoots to some degree. Anyway Sarah was super lovely & total industry professional - Oscar knew his stuff with drinks and the cuisine, you could tell he is an industry professional as well and honestly I was missing him tonight as our waiter in Alexandria was hopeless with the wine list. Oscar knows how to direct you with the menu, and he was just a total gift as a guest to DC. It's the first time I have visited the city with my mom and all I want when I go out to eat in general (I cook at home most of the time) is to feel taken care of by someone who knows the lay of the land, with expertise. Oscar and Sarah totally delivered and I wish we could have shared another night with them before we scoot back to Atlanta. Thank you guys !
