Warm weather = afternoon delight! With food trucks, that is. However, after reading an email today from Seattle and King County Public Health, I am going to wait to visit this truck until there is an update and check on a few other food trucks while I'm at it. No excuses. I cut and paste the message below along with where you can look up this record for yourself, research other closures as well and subscribe to receive the same email. Seattle Mamak, a mobile food establishment found operating at 225 Terry Ave N, Seattle 98109 was closed by a Public Health food inspector on April 30, 2019 at 2:15 pm due to operatingwithout functional handwashing. The establishment will be reopened once the inspector confirms that this issue has been resolved. I was excited to try this food truck based on the reviews while I was around the Amazon . It looked busy and smelled good. I wanted a taste of Malaysian food and I thought I'd give Seattle Mamuk a try. It looked appetizing in tty  photos. In reality when the order came out, the potions were a lot smaller than I thought. It was basically $13 for 3 pieces of chicken, rice and cucumbers. Not worth it at all! What's worst was I found a piece of hair stuck in the chicken but I  it was too late for me to go back and complain as I had left the area already. The customer service is mediocre. The food was meh. I wouldn't come back here unfortunately. I wish I had a better experience here.

I usually live in Singapore, so I'm pretty used to this type of cuisine, and was excited to see "mamak" style cuisine in Seattle. However, mamak implies more of a local Indian style of cuisine... roti canai, teh tarik, mamak mee goreng, masala thosai, etc. Went there based on the menu comments here, which said they had at least some of those items.  However, the owner must have changed the menu, as he didn't have any of the aforementioned items; and in fact the menu seems like much more of a Malaysian Chinese menu already.  It doesn't really qualify as a "mamak" restaurant anymore, I would encourage th...
