While doing a little shopping at the Allen Outlets. Both my sister and I decided to indulge in some SoCal Mini Donuts. We were in the middle of a conversation and literally gravitated to the food stand. You can purchase either a dozen or a half dozen of donuts. I chose the Turtle donuts with glazed pecans and my sister chose the Maple Bacon. I have to say the Maple Bacon is the perfect blend of sweet and savory. No complaints here. I'm usually not a fan of cake donuts, but these were "melt in your mouth" soft. Honestly, half a dozen hits the right spot. I recommend grabbing some water due to the donuts being super rich. Be sure to stop by SoCal Mini Donuts you won't be disappointed.
