It's ok, but could be so much better easily. Chips under a heat lamp. Hot food instead of room temperature. The flavor was good but it would not pass inspection for serving temp. As long as they have a line to order there is no reason to improve.

Really enjoy the food here! Tortas are huge. Good tacos. Tasty salads.

Taco Temple is a delicious place to grab seriously awesome tacos, but you get what you pay for (a single taco can be $5). We parked in the nearby lot and ordered from the walk up window before eating outside. Here's what we tried:The Santa Barbara (Ancho chile-brown sugar rubbed steak) was our favorite by far, with it's sweet sauce and perfectly cooked meat. The Panela (griddled panela cheese, roasted poblano peppers, black beans & pickled onion) was runner-up. The cheese adds good, crumbly flavor, and they fit a lot into the tortilla (we got flour tortillas, I would recommend for this one as in my experience the corn tortillas are more likely to break). One small outdoor heater tried its best but didn't do much even for the table directly underneath it. Next time we'll wait for a table inside or get drive-thru / quick pickup. It's the best taco place I've gone to so far in Asheville, and definitely worth going to at least once, but it's a quick eat that won't quite fill you up for the same price if you're used to fast food tacos or full service restaurants with bigger menus like Ay Caramba (a solid Mexican restaurant in southeast A...
