I love this place! Favorite Indian food in Anchorage. Everything I've tried so far has been great. I feel like their spice levels are realistic for authentic Indian food and not catered to bland American palates. I like spice but I'm not a spice fiend, and I've got their medium a couple of times and it's pretty spicy! Still amazing though, but if you're not a spice person definitely get mild. I've tried mixed vegetable sabjee, aloo gobi, and vegetable kofta. I think the kofta is my #1 favorite (it's vegetable dumplings), I don't have a pic of it I promise it's fantastic. Their naan is great too. The mango lassi drink is soooo good too, it's a mango yogurt drink. I rarely consume dairy and generally don't like creamy drinks but something about this drink. It's just perfect.

This restaurant is out of this world. To find an Indian restaurant with authentic taste especially in Alaska. Ishan the host did all he could to take utmost care service at its best.. the negative reviews if any don't do any justice. You got to savor the taste in person.

We had a nice sit-down lunch for the two of us, early afternoon. Previously had ordered a take-out meal on an Anchorage visit. Excellent Butter Chicken (medium spice) and Pakora Sampler. Both quite tasty. Unsweetened iced tea was exceptionally fine; the naan was exemplary. Praiseworthy service. Taste of India will definitely be one of our go-to choices for lunch or dinner in Anchorage.
