We went with high hopes -- as we saw the reviews and had it on our "Asheville bucket list" as a top spot to check out. Unfortunately, the food was really just "ok" (the staff was attentive and the environment was interesting). Perfect service with a knowledgeable waiter that was spot on with drink delivery and food timing. Robert was the man!The Chef created a custom dish off the menu for the food sensitive diner that was with me. Everything was cooked perfectly. If we lived closer to Asheville, we would frequently visit The Bull and Beggar. Go ahead and just order the 24oz Ribeye. You won't be sorry.
