I love this place, all kinds of goodies in the place. Planning a Italian dinner here were you start. Need a quick bite they have amazing sandwiches!! Pretty much the best pizza in the DMV!! It's the closest to NY pizza!

I've been going to this establishment for over 30 years. However, I never hired them to cater an event. I put in my order far outside the 48 hour window they require. I asked for their usual sandwich fixings in the side. Somehow I forgot 2 platters totaling $200 and no sides. Just lettuce on the sandwiches. These are the little things that are not being attended to. They are pricey and for the money, I was disappointed and disappointed for my guests.

So disappointed. I moved away from the DC area 2 years ago to a place where I can't find a decent sub. Visiting the area for the first time since I left and a sub from the Italian Store was the top thing on my list to do. Apparently the 7 guys behind the sandwich counter only know how to make 5 of the sandwiches on the menu. If I wanted any of the other subs, I had to order from the register in the back where I was informed it would take 55 minutes. Not wanting to wait an hour for one of the 7 sandwich makers to make the sub I actually wanted, I grabbed one of the premade subs. The entire experience was disappointing.
