I am extremely sugar conscious due to family history of diabetes and following a keto “lifestyle” in the past. I regularly have to customize smoothies here. Today was no exception however I noticed right at the first sip that something was off. My smoothie was extremely bitter. I took another sip. There was actually a soap taste! I decided to return to the store after work to talk to them about it. There were 2 young employees at the front and they were friendly and apologetic and offered to remake the smoothie. Went here before a concert at the Smart Financial and was very impressed with all the different vegetarian choices. Even have a delicious hummus wrap. Thank you for all the vegetarian options Tropical Smoothie Cafe. Wish I had one of these close to my home. The question I always ask myself about a restaurant or dining place out is...can they feed me better than home. This place is a close second. Need more gluten free options.
