What an incredible neighborhood gem. Off alley is a small restaurant. It's ideal for a party of two as seating is along a bar top table. Any larger than three may be uncomfortable. Awesome date night spot. Tucked away on rainier ave, it's easy to miss but it's very intimidate inside. The staff are awesome and it's super laid back. Prepare to have lots of small bites and finger foods. The ribeye is absolutely amazing as well. Rotating menu but it's nice to have a quieter and nice dining experience option in the area. The octopus was son tender an amazing. Comparable to what I've had in Japan, for real. The ribeye was so flavorful and amazing! Definitely worth trying once for a small celebration

Off Alley is truly Columbia City's hidden gem. Delectable food, solid wine selection, great service and humble atmosphere. My fiance said the food and setting here remind him of San Sebastian. From what I heard they are doing the five course tasting menu until end of June then after that Off Alley will be back to its à la carte small plates. Cant wait to go back for more.
