The rice here is pretty bad, and the curries are a bit watery. rogan josh with lamb, and chicken vindaloo. Maybe I'm spoiled but I usually expect the rice to have some more flavor. Spice levels - both were ordered medium spicy, both both tasted very mild. Maybe some of the other dishes were good, but curries were not that great. lack of seasoning or watery.

The food here is really good and nicely presented. The waiters are like sharks walking around to check on you and quickly refill your glass. I also loved the cozy outdoor seating.

Our go to place for Indian food. The Shish Taouk - technicality more Middle Eastern than Indian - is also one of our favorites. The only thing wrong with Taste of India's menu is that there are TOO MANY great choices. We always order enough to have at least one meal of "planned overs"! Pre COVID we were in the U-district every few weeks and could go there often for activities at UW or plays at the Bathhouse in Greenlake. We live in West Seattle so with so many performance venues closed we don't get out as often. But sometimes we just need a Taste of India FIX - so we go for Take-Out, or when the weather is cooperative sit outside on their EXPANDED Patio! We have never ordered a dish we did not enjoy, and the service is always the best!
